Yep, I too am pulling for Akron. Although if it’s just on a basis of interesting places to live….Springfield MA, because I always wanted to live in Maine as a child, and that’s really close. Otherwise I’d have to say South Bend, because houses are so cheap there that you would practically be REQUIRED to buy a house while Samuel is in school, which would be a real sacrifice on your part, but I’m sure you’d muscle through and suck it up and all that and buy one.
I couldnt resist putting in a good word for Madison WN. It has a very awesome campus, RIGHT on a nice lake and with a very oldfashioned/historic feeling union. Also the urban planning of the down town area is amazing! the streets are narrow and cars don’t drive on them, giving it a european relaxed feeling, and the resturants all have outdoor seating, right on the edge of the road, where cars would normally park if they allowed cars. Overall I remember being really impressed at just the urban planning of the town and the sense of community and culture it made. just my two cents…

OOOOOOOOOOOO, EXCITING!
I’d live in Richmond, VA because Williamsburg is my favorite place in the whole world. You will have fun there!
Nashville. Definitely Nashville. I mean, seriously — why even consider anywhere else?
